Thanks for sharing your cabin with us. We had a great time! We biked along the New River and went out to Watauga Lake. The mountains were beautiful, as always!

The kids loved all the basement amenities and roasting marshmallows over the firepit. I loved all the birdfeeders and the gorgeous views.

Our group of friends came to Bear Foot Hideaway for a weekend and what a WONDERFUL RELAXING weekend we had! The house is so charming and beautiful and all the lovely touches and the amenities entertained us fully!

We stayed at Bearfoot Hideaway for a week in August. We immediately fell in love with the area. The location was phenomenal. Active, yet serene. Our family went down and hung out by the river every day. We tubed it twice. Once we started there, and ended down river. Another time we started up river and ended at the bridge by Bearfoot Hideaway. We had a great fire going in the firepit every night. The view is lovely. We especially loved all the flowers and trees the owners planted. there were always hummingbirds or some other kind of colorful bird feeding on the flowers. My grown son and his family, along with my grown daughter and hers fell in love with the place so much, that when we noticed that the cabin up the road was for sale, we bought it! Well, let's say I bought it and they encouraged me to buy it! Now that we know Trish & Evan, we also understand why the cabin was so cozy and felt like we belonged there. It is because they are so hospitable and make every guest feel like family. (While we were there, we broke their coffeemaker...Of course we replace it. But when we told them the story, they made us dinner "for our troubles" ! I would highly recommend a stay at Bearfoot Hideaway!

My husband and I spent a week on two different occasions here. We didn't know what it was going to be like and we were asstonished with every aspect of our stay. The location was absolutely incredibly beautiful, better than the description on the listing. We thought it was a "cabin" and it turned out to be more like a 3 story log house, much bigger than we expected. The photos could not have possibly described the warmth, the views, the comfort and beauty of the cabin and surroundings. Everything in the cabin was spotless, we found everything we needed and then some. The owners went out of their way to make sure we were happy and comfortable there. They decorated the cabin so perfectly, that we felt at home and didn't want to leave. We have recommended the cabin to friends and they were just as pleased as we were. They went with their kids and grandkids and thanked us repeatedly for recommending this particular cabin. There is quite a bit to do in Boone and we kept busy the entire time we were there. At night, we barbequed, looking out to the million and one stars above us, watching the hummingbirds feed during the day and the sounds of heaven. It is definitely our favorite place to go and hope to stay there soon again. The owners are so nice, very informative and helpful. It is obvious that they love their property and keep it always in perfect shape. When you get there, you feel like you are the first and only person ever to stay there and feel like you're leaving your home when you leave. We highly recommend this "beary" wonderful cabin!!!!
